especially if you keep it from the perspective of where we are at at this stage. Right now I see 3 possibilities:
1) We win 5 or more of our remaining games. Croom stays, he possibly will revamp the offensive personnel. We keep our recruiting class, maybe get guys like
Bumphis/Patterson/Thames that we probably wouldn't normally get.
2) We win 3-4 more of our remaining games. Croom stays, and he is FORCED to revamp the offense and/or personnel. We keep the core of our recruiting class but
lose out on the big names as usual.
3) We win 2 or less of our remaining games. If not fired, Croom is put under HEAVY pressure but he probably will be fired. Heads will roll and changes will be
made. We probably lose most of the recruiting class but we start over with likely a great Byrne hire. The best thing about this scenario? Watching a very
stubborn man have to face reality.
What would you guys like to see happen? I have to say I'm hoping for 1 or 3. However I see a 2005 relapse, we probably beat Arkansas and someone else,
probably Ole Miss, and all hope is restored. But at least we will have a new offensive coordinator. Maybe.
