This is the 3rd year in a row the Ark. St. coach has been 1 and done. For a 5th year senior next year, next year's coach will the 8th head coach he has played for, counting 3 interim bowl coaches.

Sounds to me tha Arky state is the place to be.

You can agree the Arkansas State AD goes after good coaches. Jonesboro and the Sunbelt Conference seems to be his liability though.

Not surprising. Harsin had played at and then been an assistant at Boise for ten years so he's going home.

I understand that being the stepping stone can have its advantages but...

in this scenario it doesn't come close to outweighing the disadvantages of so much turnover.

No doubt. Being a stepping stone is way underrated. But if I'm Arkansas St., I'm saying damn, what do we have to do to keep a coach? This guy didn't even do anything impressive in his 1 year there and still got hired away to a pretty good job.
