Virtually every bubble team is pulling an MState today and losing their first tournament game. Now San Diego State is on the ropes. If we were somehow able to get two, we might sneak in.

But if Auburn were to beat Florida, that may not be a good thing for us RPI wise. Please enlighten me if I am wrong.

They are 54th and will likely move up if they beat Auburn, but would move down with a loss to us, so no Top 50 win.

Another way to look at it is that Florida is a competitor for an at-large spot. If they were to lose to Auburn, they would be 20-12. If we were to win two and lose the championship, we would be 23-11 and have a higher RPI, a better record and a better conference record (NCAA counts tournament games as conference games).
