This guy is a butt-hurt, broken record. He's a "shock" journalist that babbles off at the mouth in order to get people to click on his page/read his articles. Hell, it worked; I'm not denying that. However, I don't get mad at this. I actually found it rather funny.

Guys like him HATE that Ole Miss and State just "happened to be in the right place at right time" to be in the SEC. Well tough ****. We both were and we both do pretty well considering our financial limitations compared to the big boys.

If they're such a sleeping giant why doesnt the ACC or Big 12 take them?

For one thing Florida would never allow it and the SEC already has a pretty good lockdown of the Orlando media market.

We are charter members. We have as much do with the success of the conference as anyone else.

North Texas had 36,000 enrolled last year. Should they be in the SEC? Exactly.

Finebaum had him on yesterday and he was blowing the same smoke. Surprisingly, Finebaum was defending State and OM.

Exactly. Central Florida is a very big school. But in athletics they're very mid major. There's nothing they could add to any major conference. Proof is the Big 10 adding Maryland & the Big 12 adding West Virginia and neither even considering UCF.

I agree. To take it a step further, I think there will come a point when fans (in general) will prefer stability with conference members. In the long term, a revolving door approach to conference membership will dilute the brand.

The addition of TAMU and Mizzou may be a strategic financial move for the conference, and I hope their addition to the SEC helps MSU receive more revenue. But, personally speaking, it's hard to get excited about either when they play MSU in any sport. Quite frankly, unless there are some extenuating circumstances surrounding those games, I'd miss those long before I'd pass up an opportunity seeing MSU play a charter SEC school.

NYU has 50,000+ students in the largest city in America. Maybe the ACC should try and kick out one of it's original charter members to get NYU? They "deserve it" because NYC has lots of TVs.**
