People become characters and we lose that fact that they are actually people.

Many people just saw him as the Croc Hunter, and well... the character of the Croc Hunter died so the show's over. So I do realize the sign wasn't made in spite or anything, but it misses the fact that not everyone in the world called him the Crocodile Hunter. Somebody called him Dad.
