I love it. I have never been a big fan of dabo, but I am now. Expose the scum for what it is.
I've heard others mention that. Is there any stories out there or more "insider type of stuff".
Dyldo is the ultimate hypocrite. Said he was going to quit if College football turned into the pro model or something to that effect.
College football is now a crapshow. I did watch parts of the championship game; hated both teams. What's the point? Many teams, including Nebraska, will be frozen out of really competing for any championships and smaller programs like SDSU, NDSU, MAC, Mountain West, etc., will exist only as feeder programs for the "big boy programs." Who are those programs? You know. Ohio State, Texass, A$M, Georgia, Miami, LSU, OU, Oregon, and a few others. Under current conditions, I do not see NU being able to crack the top 10, or even the top 20. I really don't blame Debo. He's, like NU, in the "Can't Realistically Compete" category. I really only watch NFL anymore. College football, LOL, just follow the money.
Except that, “under the current conditions,” the second most losingest program in history just won a natty. That fact alone destroys your theory.
Yeah I watched this yesterday, my passion for the game is dwindling. I think the only way to enjoy college football nowadays is not to pay attention to recruiting at all, just watch on Saturdays without any knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes.
I’m with OP on this one. I keep hearing all these people saying that NIL is adding parity to the game. I don’t think that’s the case at all. It’s more of an arms race than ever before. And with no cap, it’ll just generally be who’s got the biggest booster supporter behind them. I think just because the SEC isn’t as dominant as they once were, that has people fooled into thinking there is now parity. There’s not. There’s just openly paying players now without having to cheat to do it, which the SEC never used to care about.
Do we have three billionaires funding the program like Indiana? We can't even get the one billionaire to support the program, so while it's true anyone can compete now it's only for those programs with sugar daddies.
This is true and people around these parts laugh at Dabo because of the holier than thought attitude. It's funny...

At some point not all schools will be able to pay the full rev share. Unless they do the government model and just spend to infinity and beyond.
