And it'll be doing good to win 6. Great example of why you can't judge teams based off quantity of wins.

Win or lose, you have to play 60 minutes. It irks me more than anything that we quit this game at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Yes, we sucked butts in the 4th, but ole miss is starting to look less and less impressive. Dropped one to auburn, and their biggest win, Vandy, got blown out by a questionable Missou. Also, Arkansas is not impressing me.
I do not think we will beat aTm or USC, but they have shown weakness, we could at least give one of them a good game.

I agree. I'm just pointing out that this is the first time in two years I can see what we're trying to do on both sides of the ball.
Yeah, but you're comparing it to a 7-6 team and an 8 win team with wins over some of the worst SEC teams fielded in decades. I don't get how so many people here are getting a chubby after watching us get our asses handed to us even after three decent quarters.
Oh, we definitely have the talent and the ability to compete. That much is clear. But when we play so hard and overcome such diversity for 3 quarters and then quit, it shows a lack of emotional drive and a poor work ethic, both of which can be attributed to poor/lack of coaching. I've seen it for years... Our team is incredibly vulnerable to emotional changes in tempo. When we're up we're up, but when we're down we're WAY down. The difference between us and some of our opponents is that we have trouble rebounding after something bad happens.
We have the talent. We just need to change our MSU mentality of thinking that if we are down, we can't come back.

its a shame the score ended up the way it did...i was fairly proud of how we played. the coaching has always been a concern, but we played hard, but we were set-up to fail by coaching incompetence. i think bowling green gives us a pretty damn good fight.
agreed, but in the same line of thinking, uk is not a given anymore. they lost 28-35 @ usc. ole miss looked underwhelming and arkansas is a toss-up.
