"Dixie" is a beautiful song. I see nothing wrong with it. Those who do are severely overreacting.

Very good film. Depicts all of the fun, excitement and emotion of SEC game day. And RocketCityDawg I agree with you.

Kentucky was a "Border State". I don't think they were officially part of the CSA, and I'm to lazy too look it up. Lincoln and Jeff Davis were both born in KY, not too far apart. Missouri, definitely Yankee.

Wikpedia's version of the history of the song, "Dixie":

I thought this was kinda cool. It's SEC, but after all, that's where we are.
And the background music...well, the Famous Maroon Band played it at every game when I was a student at MSU. TSUN didn't invent nor own it.

Very cool video. I wish the Famous Maroon Band would play it at games again. Mississippi is by far the most "Southern" state and we should own it. Seriously.

Well, screw you too. Are you assuming I am racist because I am an old white man who grew up during the Civil Rights era? You don't know me. And you played the age card. That's profiling. I was a member of the Diversity
Council at my last employer, Lockheed. Contact DawgStudent, he's known me for a long time, if you have issues. And I think you do. God bless you, anyway.

Dumbass *****?

Dumbass? I graduated from MSU when I was 19, probably earlier than you finished college. If you did. (You misspelled "Dumbass," FWIW. That's iconic).

And I doubt that I'm a homo, since I've never wanted to go there. Do you have more insight into that life-style?

Life alert? I am probably in better shape than you. Rave on.
