2016 is gonna be the Conservatives Waterloo. I especially laughed at the "If 99 Doctors out of a 100 tell you you have Diabetes you aren't gonna go, awww, that's just a conspiracy by Obama to keep me from eating bacon and Donuts!

Again... compared to the Dem field of what?

Kids Get Off My Lawn Sanders? Wicked Witch of the West? I'd Take A Grenade For You Webb? They're After Meh Luck Charms O'Malley?

It amazes me that Dems can take that bunch seriously.

I don't think he's the right guy, but I do like a lot of the things that Sanders stands for. (not all, but a lot)

I like that he's trying to fight against the SuperPACs and making us a true democracy again.
I like that he doesn't get into the mudslinging and just wants to talk issues.
I like his idea of state colleges being tuition free.
I like his idea of removing the cap on the SS tax.

I can't see or hear him speak without thinking of the Steinbrenner character on Seinfeld though, and as evidenced by many on this board, many people can't get past his self-proclaimed socialist status. Everybody that bashes him has taken advantage of at least a dozen of our socialist programs already. But, being a self-proclaimed socialist, and so many people not knowing what that really means in his context, I think the GOP would get slaughtered by their base if they compromised with him.

We need somebody that can bridge the gap. He isn't it.

Do you really think there is ANY Democrat the GOP would work with? To the base (the kook fringe wingnuts) , Democrats are "destroying our country" and "killing babies". Democrats are sympathetic to terrorists. Democrats are destroying families. Democrats want to take away guns leaving everyone defenseless against an evil, oppressive govt. Yada yada. It has become a part of the wingnut mindset that if someone disagrees with their political ideals (which are usually rooted in christian fundamentalism), they are a literal enemy. That is why were rarely see an Oran Hatch and a Ted Kennedy as personal friends anymore. Political opponents = enemies. Radical wingnuts have hijacked the political process and are responsible for our polarization.

Dirty air and water, wanting old people to die, don't like blacks or minorities in general, war mongers, ending women's suffrage, and the list goes on. Yea it's just the kooks on the right. Willfully ignorant of your own parties antics I guess.

The link I found funny though. I think concessions would have to be made by a DNC President in order for the GOP to work with them meaning someone needs to bridge the gap. There is no one on the left fitting that description currently.

Well, the GOP has consistently fought environmental laws to protect air and water and their platfrom currently scoffs at the idea of man-induced climate change. The leading GOP candidate has floated the idea of eliminating Medicare. Minorities? Laughable. Hoodies. Stand you ground. Ferguson. Really? Warmongerers? Another really? WMDs? Iraq? No dealing with Iran?

Yet, given all that, the Democrats will deal and compromise and don't go around routinely and consistently claiming that their political adversaries are "enemies" of our country.

It is hilarious to watch you claim that the crazies in the opposite party are the problem when you are just as crazy on the other side of the spectrum and you don't even realize it.

I know. I especially loved his last line. It's like he didn't even hear Hildebeast answer a question of who she was proud to have made enemies and listed Republicans right after ISIS. He is the WVPATX of the left.

And that's another thing about the wingnuts...no sense of humor. Hillary's comment was obviously in jest. But it is interesting that Hillary has been accused by the likes of limbaugh and falwell and cruz of everything from drug running to murder to letting stevens die when she could've saved him. Why would she ever view these folks as enemies?

Yeah. Its the sense of humor. It has nothing to do with the countless ridiculous comments you make.
