Donavan changes after 1/2 time weren't countered well. When Macklin outscored us 6-2 we needed a TO but we waited. Then called a TO then had a TV TO not more than 1 min later. Just bizarre sometimes.

I still support Rick, but c'mon

...with who we had coming back. Massive, massive coaching failure. He needs to go. Unfortunately, he has earned a lame duck year next year, even though it will be a wasted year.

I see no reason to bring in new asst. coaches for a potential lame duck. I hope that this little home stretch we can catch fire, but now my confidience has waned alot.

Jesus Christ. He's been there for 12 years. He had everybody back. We have the talent to at least be an NCAA tournament team.

I do agree that this is Stansbury's worst coaching job. I still don't agree that he needs to go. Yet.

I'll tell you who I would like to see go- Kodi Augustus. What a waste of oxygen that thug is. He does not deserve to be a MSU Bulldog and I feel the same way about him that I do Tommy Kelly. I'm embrassed that he is even associated with MSU. He is by far our worst player. Why Rick has not told him to hit the road and look forward to playing basketball in the penitentary, I don't know.

I not only would not pee on Kodi Augustus if he was on fire, odds are I lit the match.

That said, Rick- start Romero Osby. He actually deserves it. And while he may or may not be as productive as Kodi, at least he plays with effort. Stans had no problem kicking Robert Jackson, the Delk's, or Walter Sharpe to the curb. Why is Kodi any different? Is Rick scared that Kodi is carrying around a shank or something?

...if he played we were supposed to be a top 10 caliber team. Everybody thought without him we could be a 2nd weekend type of team.

Now we will be in the NIT. No excuse. Absolutely none. Horrible, horrible job by Rick this year.

developing team chemistry. He's had such bad luck that we've had the equivalent of 2 basketball teams to transfer out of the program. Damn that evil leprechaun!!! While we're at it, Croom had bad luck too. He didn't have a quarterback or WRs to run his offense. Damn it, we're just screwed with bad luck all over the place. Polk had it too ... that damn NCAA on their schollys.

....Sharpe may be the exception. The Marquette coach seemed to be able to handle Jackson on their Final Four run.

Jackson was the first to leave, and we villified him, but looking back, that was the beginning of a pattern that has destroyed our program. Everybody has problem kids, but other coaches are able to reign them in.

I can't stand Kodi either, but how many times have we seen this? The all transfer team: Ervin, Hans, Delks, Sharpe, Houston, Jackson. The list goes on and on.

Yeas they return five starters, that would be good if that is all that played a game, Maybe you noticed Becham and Bailey, an smith were lost for the year, and Sidney is being held hostage by the pricks at the NCAA. We got no depth, and the your boy Kodi has lost his $#+#@#* mind. He is a cancer on the team and he sux. Its no coincidence that most so called "good" coaches dont spend better part of their time on message boards like you

Jarvis cannot score around the rim unless he has a dunk and Kodi and Romero go 1-10 from the field and get lost on defense as much as they can. We got beat today because we can't score in close and we got murdered on the boards with Fla getting shot after shot on posessions. Fla's big men made Jarvis look silly and as bad as folks hound Stewart and Bost, Jarvis has forgotten he doesn't have to score everytime the ball goes into him. We simply don't give anybody problems inside and team know it. Coach bitched all season about playing Kodi and Osby and they are playing now and not giving us much. Now we come home, so let's see how we play.

he has to begin taking the blame at some point (or receiving it).

I don't give a damn if he is the unluckiest bastard alive. At some point you just have to realize that and move on.

He's had plenty of time to make an adjustment. he won't do it. Cant do it. Something. I don't know what it is, but players don't get better under his watch. Teams don't get better. We either stay the same or get worse.

What in the 17 sakes did he do last year?
hell most people on this board complained about the SOB when he was in last year.

The bottom 17ing line is that we are better than 16 and.....what is it now 7 losses. yep, we are way better than 16-7. We might not be a consistent top 20 team, but we are way better than 16-7 or the 21 and 10 we'll end up.

If you dont see that, then you are the dumbest mother17er on this board.

We (I'm) are not saying we should be expecting to win the SEC, but we sure as hell are way 17ing better than 16 and 7. Have I made that clear.

at least one can make the argument that none of those 20 to 30 kids went on to do much of anything elsewhere. Therefore, it would stand to reason that Croom was probably right in kicking them to the curb.

With Stansbury, however, pretty much everyone that you listed went on to be pretty damn productive at their next stop. Interesting to say the least...

I'd be willing to bet that if you look at the numbers our bench put up last year and this year you'd see a significant difference. Depth counts for something here, Coach, and all the whining and bitching that you and Kodi do won't change that.

You guys jump on the Stans "can't coach" bandwagon and stay there quicker than Saints fans pop up across MS.

I actually saw improvement on offense today, more movement, some screening away from the ball, we ran the screen for the screener play several times vs Vandy, yet you guys never see that much less point it out, you only point out negatives. I don't see teams running many more sets than we run, it's just that they have better one on one scorers.

Jarvis had 10 point blank misses today. Don't underestimate how much it hurts not having a post scorer. Stans has lived in the past off of having his post player demand a double team. Not only do we not have that, our only post scorer can't score one on one against a decent defender.

Also, we don't have a guard that can consistently penetrate against a good defender and score, draw a foul, or draw the defense. Kodi and Osby try to, but are inconsistent and turn it over more times than not when they put it on the floor. THAT's why we shoot so many 3's, b/c we don't have a player that can create. No matter what offense you run, you've got to have players that can score in one on one situations or take the ball to the rim.

We still managed to get good looks, I'd say we got more than UF today, but we didn't convert. Problem w/ guys like Kodi and Dee is that, they're good enough shooters that you can't tell them not to shoot 3's, yet they're bad enough that they'd shootless than 35%from 3 if they were in the gym by themselves.

We still have Benock, Osby, and Turner/Augustus coming in just like last year...thats 8 players...plus, we can sub Augustus at the 5 or play Lewis and Riek for 9 or 10 players...most teams do not play more than 8 players...we play 9 every game

Do we really miss Beckham's 8 mins a game with 1 turnover and 1 assist that much? Why cant Stewart fill that role 8 minutes a game?

Bailey and Johnson scored 163 point last year and grabbed 109 rebounds in 36 games..thats 5 points and 3 rebounds a game in 36 games....Lewis and Riek are at 46 and 47 with at least 10 games left to play...you also have to count some of Augustus's points and boards here too with him in the 5 spot

The depth argument is total ********
