I wanted neither Pope nor Drew. They were lazy hires where their biggest redeeming quality (to Mitch anyway) is their pious nature. UK is a public school, not some small Christian institution.

All 38 of those wins were not dominant. Almost lost to UGA, Ole Miss, LSU, Colubmia.

I haven’t given up but he does deserve some criticism. This is his show and he’s responsible for it.

This season has been a disappointment so far, but I also factor in we have not had a healthy Lowe and we still have not had JQ.
I am going ro give Coach the rest of the season before I grade. I also think he is a good learner and he will realize to build the program he wants he will need to alter his strategy to get an impact player every year to pair with his growing veteran rosters. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Last year was great but early on this year has been a train wreck. I know there is no other coach that will work harder and has the desire to win then Pope. For the fans on this site and others ALREADY wanting him gone or saying he is a bad hire after a great 1st year is pathetic! These are people who have never played or coached the game beyond elementary school and is why many coaches would never coach at UK.

This is a fake fan. Anybody who is a real UK fan knows that UK fans are renowned as the most knowledgeable basketball fans in the country. We don't have to coach or play the game to understand how it works. Take your basketball bennie bullshyyte and shove it.

And then people act like it was more minor discussion. "What, we can't discuss his flaws?" Maybe you personally haven't said anything about him not being able to do the job. But a lot of people have. And then when pressed on it, the messsaging shifts to "I just have some concerns."

Again, you can discuss whatever you like. But we're 6 games into year 2. He had a really successful year 1, especially considering the injuries. I think most of us came into the year believing he was a really good coach based on last year. Two bad games isn't enough to convince me that my belief was wrong.

This team is soft they got put stuffed tonight. They got beat for every rebound when it matters. They have no one to can take the ball to the basket. Garrison couldn't guard a stick in the ground.

Worked on D all summer over O. It shows.

Everyone that was supposed be some big difference maker is hurt.

Actually really like Jelevic. He’s got some skill, hustles, actually fights for rebounds. Pretty good game IQ. Think he needs to get more minutes.

Chandler going to have to be the dude. Can’t rely on all the above d mentioned dudes who were supposed to be dudes.

Not ideal, he’s not a true point but I think he can run the show and needs to be unleashed.

Moreno is raw, young but there’s some real potential with him. He could be special.

Overall everyone just chill the F out.

I mean y’all act like you’ve never seen teams struggle out the gate before.
