Hes a a big loss IMO though. OM fans will hype up Treadwell, and rightfully so, but the combination of those two is much more worrisome than just Tread even if he does improve.

Exactly. No matter where Moncrief was playing, there's just no reason for him to stay in college another year.

Treadwell is good but the lack of touches for Moncrief was stupid. I'd much rather have Moncrief with the ball.

I wonder if Treadwell was not playing his best position in the slot and could do more damage using his size on the outside.

Definitely. Treadwell is a beast, and is naturally suited for playing on the outside. But with their OL and QB, they couldn't get the ball to outside WRs on deep routes. Best way to get him the ball often was in the slot, so that's where they put him.
