Do you think Zach will leave early? A lot of talk about his coverage skills but is he NFL worthy as a junior coming out early? Congratulations on his Big 12 honor for last week.
I think Zach is a good coverage guy at the college level, but I'm not sure he's ready for the NFL quite yet. He has great ball skills. He's made several big interceptions for OU during his career.
Sanchez is our best guy in the secondary, but that's not saying much. Parker probably has the highest ceiling. For every time Sanchez makes a big play, 5 other times he is being burnt badly or struggling to tackle someone. Or at least that was the case last year(in fact wasn't he already burnt badly vs Akron). If he is elite as some say(they said this about Landry as well) then elite db's make all conference and go real high in draft. Let's see if that happens

Sanchez has some games where he is lights out, then next thing it seems like he forgets how to tackle. I would think NFL scouts would doubt his tackling the most. Sure he gets burned some, but for the most part I think he is great in coverage. He can give up plays, but he seems to have a knack for making a bigtime play when needed.
Don't even worry about it Yankee. Some people here get all butt hurt if you don't proclaim every OU player has 1st round draft pick potential. Every player has strengths and weaknesses.
