I wish we could get that kind of atmosphere in the Hump. Everyone in that stadium is screaming on defense. I couldn't imagine the Hump doing that for a half of a game.

victories too. Both clubs are physical.
Visiting Longhorn guards are great at stripping the ball on defense. It is a key game for the NCAA tourney seeding purposes.

He and Digger Phelps had a conversation in the studio at the halftime of a game last year that was incredible. His insights and ability to communicate concepts is what sets him apart. Having said that, I still think he's a jerk.

The cut-outs of the K-State players' heads in their student section got me and a friend talking. Our students should get a huge cut-out of Jarvis' head (or maybe from chest up would work better) and also get cut outs of a set of arms to stretch across the section. Whatever basket our opponent is shooting on, wave those arms up and down during their possessions, free throws, etc. I think something like that would be pretty awesome... If they couldn't get coordinated enough to do the arms, then just get a bunch of cut-outs of Jarvis' head a wave them around when we're on defense. Definitely would be distracting. Just a thought.

I was thinking had he been doing the game at Starkville vs Georgia he would have thrown his headset in disgust at our lack of offense early.

out there. Very physical but equally as sloppy. I think I saw only 2 or 3 three pointers attempted with none made. After watching our 3 point love fest it was kind of shocking to watch street ball again. I think on a good night with the 3s falling and we play with energy on both ends of the court we can play with anyone.

BTW - from what I saw on the telly of the KSU female population --- thank god for Mississippi & SEC.

the number one team in the country not being able to buy a damn free throw shot. they were terrible.

how in the hell can they be that good with literally no outside threat?

I thought about that too. But then again I think they just have more of the Rick's rowdies types there than we do.

I will watch ANY game called by Bobby Knight because he does such a great job analyzing what each team is doing. He's always been one of my favorite coaches, regardless of if he would kill me if I played for him. And his announcing is fantastic.

Every game was packed... there were 2 hour long lines outside of the new Athletic Building to get student tickets on Monday mornings... the lines stretched way back into the Sanderson Center parking lot...

And if you really think about it... losses to Richmond, Rider, and WKU are the reason why it's not like that again...
