but does Ole Miss always get the recruit's last visit? Seems like this has been the case since I've followed recruiting. And if so, is that an advantage or disadvantage, or neither?

How do they determine the visit days

..look at their recruiting over the last 3 years (not their rankings; their on the field talent) & you tell us if when they set up late visits it is an advantage or disadvantage.

I would speculate they set up late visits so they can try to sway players who are already committed elsewhere (when you set up very late visits, it stands to reason most of the players visiting are already committed somewhere).


Judging by the product they are putting on the field, it doesn't appear to be a very successful recruiting tactic.

OM wants to be the last person in their targets ears. We try to schedule our big weekend around a big basketball game so our targets can see an exciting atmosphere. Normally that lands our big weekends usually the 2nd full weekend of the new year.
