Paris (CNN)Europe's worst security nightmare appears to be coming true: At least one of the terrorists who attacked civilians in Paris on Friday entered the European Union hidden among the wave of refugees arriving on European shores.

One of three bombers who detonated himself at the Stade de France late Friday arrived on the Greek island of Leros on October 3 among numerous Syrian refugees, CNN's Christiane Amanpour reported, citing an unnamed French senator who was briefed by the Ministry of the Interior.

The man declared himself to be Syrian, said his name was Ahmad al Mohammad and was, under new procedures set up to help refugees, issued a new emergency passport.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that these terrorists are attempting to kill innocent individuals in democratic countries. This has been a fight for quite some time and will continue as smart people have explained the difficulty with this new type of "war". Yes, there are many opinions on how to do go about doing it and that is what should be debated and understood. It is absolutely ridiculous to try and argue that the fight against terrorism has been completed throughout the world or argue whether or not leaders use different terms in identifying them.

That line is used with their tag lines and how much news analysis shows they put on and the slant they put on the analysis part of reporting the news. This illustrates an interesting and very difficult problem.
On the one hand, you have thousands and thousands of people trying to escape this barbaric culture and find safe places to raise their families. They want the same things all of us want, opportunities for ourselves and especially our children to find work, and education free from oppression. Should we just not accept any of the refugees? Then, of course, if you do, you run a pretty high risk of one of the terrorists getting in as well. So, do you shun 10's of thousands of people to make sure that you don't get 1-5 of them? I know that we have very sophisticated biometrics screening tools to catch bad guys, but somebody has to be in the system to be able to catch them.
