and hijacked the year-end banquet after the team's most successful season ever and essentially demoralizing the program right before a huge game, they would be absolutely reviled by the press, and the public in general. But he's a coach, so it's cool. And he's at Notre Dame, so it's OMG even cooler! Return to glory blah, blah, blah. I just hope the players have enough common sense to not laugh (out loud) if he ever brings up "commitment" and "loyalty."
