The replay from the end zone camera clearly showed the ref calling/marking the ball down while tweeting his whistle at max volume.

Yea, the SEC should consider reprimanding these officials for basically lying on National TV. How can they say the whistle didn't blow when it was clear that it did? Vanderbilt could argue that all their guys stopped chasing Gordon after they heard the whistle.
