Auburn has a new coach. He's just 23. Got hired very late. Even got practice started a day or two late because of moving here from Mississippi, I think it was. Trying to install a spread offense, from a team that's been running a wing-T for the past 6 or more seasons. Plus only has about 19 players is what I heard. Heard the starting QB is a freshman. Probably going to be a rough year for the new Coach. Congrats to Craig though. Those boys don't get too many wins to celebrate.
I didnt realize all of that. I figured it was the same coach they had in seasons past. There must be a story to that one... I just realized I may have a chance to see Bland play this year, that will be a first since 1996.
Any idea what Narrows has this year? They beat Auburn by about the same margin it looks like.
Narrows graduated 10 starters off defense from last year. I think in their game with Auburn last week, they returned a KO and a punt for TD's, so they must not have been able to drive down field much on offense. Narrows plays Chillhowie next week and Giles the week after. Should have a good read on them after that.
