from the teleconference with croom today..

And finally, one reporter asked the question that's been on all our minds: Do you have any special packages for Derek Pegues on offense? Croom: "Nope." An awkward silence followed.

"well, why the hell not?"

seriously, when you have a player who is as dangerous as pegues is with the ball in his hands, it makes NO SENSE to never try to get him the ball on offense.

and i don't buy the BS about not having time to learn more than one position. it's not hard to learn how to run an end-around, or be an effective decoy on the same play.

joke. The "best player on the team" and he doesnt even consider putting a package together for him. I can only imagine what everyone was thinking during that awkward silence.

Why the hell we didn't create a package for him from the time he stepped on campus escapes me entirely. I've been begging his whole career to get him a few snaps on offense. Like you said, lawdawg, he's just too damn explosive with the ball in his hands to not try to get it too him on offense occasionally. We should have him running a Wild Dog, considering he is arguably the best option QB this state has ever produced. Crxxms is a complete moron for never attempting to get DP a few offensive snaps in his career.

/Have called Crxxms everything but a dog for it.

during the end of the first half against LSU, except Croom himself. You know, when the camera showed Croom sitting there just bobbing his head yelling "Hibity Jibity Hibity" when every coach and player on our sideline was getting fired up about our momentum and chance to get down the field and score before the half.

And that thought was, that this was the most hard headed mfing idiot that has ever graced the sidelines of college football.

If we are to ever succeed, that stupid bastard is going to have to relinquish ALL gameday decision making.

You ain't never lied. If that dumbass wasn't allowed to make one decision during gameday except for how much pork to put on his sandwhich, then we would probably be at least 4-1 right now.

We could have easily put in 3 offensive plays for Pegues during the off week and had them ready for the Vandy game if we'd wanted to. The problem is we're just too damn dumb to do something like that.

So, some say its too late, or that he plays def, etc etc. Well what about Delmon Robinson. He seems to only get into about 5 plays a game and is obviously under utilized. He already is on offense. How bout a wr end around, or reverse, or wild dog. He seems quick enough to be pretty good at this. Youd think since we have a qb thats actually pretty fast wed run the ocasional option. I honestly think i could coach us to a win with the same team against croom, with only the NCAA 09 playbook.

We said install the Wild Dog and run it with Elliot (oops) or Delmon Robinson, since it's too late to do anything with DP. Unfortunately, Crxxms is too damn dumb to ever try anything innovative like that. I swear, he doesn't have a single imaginative bone in his entire body.

I guarantee you that he would have been fired for his sorry decisions.

Croom's decisions don't make ANY sense in any football league- except on a video game where you are screwing around MAYBE. Elderly women in the stands have poked me on the back and asked me what Croom was thinking. And I've got nothing for them. It's pitiful.

I like the WILD DAWG formation...

Pegues played QB in HS so any other competent head coach would take advantage of his playmaking abilities 2 to 3 times a game... Sometimes I wonder if people like him ever regret coming here...
