....the Auburn-West Virginia game and just thought about what could have been after it was over.
We should have beaten both La. Tech and Auburn, and probably UT too. Hell, we caught LSU on an off-night and they were ripe for the picking. Our schedule not only looked favorable this year, but some of the pre-conceived tougher opponents(like UT) didn't turn out to be so great. Laugh at me if you want, but the SEC West could have easily been a two-horse race between MSU and Bama. Opportunities were abundant coming off an 8-5 season(fluke or not), and once again we came out of the gates as a poorly coached, unprepared football team.
I know I'm not saying anything new here, and I know I'm preaching to the choir, but missed opportunities like this season are what accentuates the frustration of being an MSU football fan.
