Yes, I think the Rebels are even lower than State was under Crooms, but then Mullens hasn't exactly taken us to back-to-back Cotton bowls, either. We currently have the advantage, but I won't be happy about that until I see the results in recruiting.

You have to recruit yourself out of that, and that takes awhile a few years minimum. Even their JUCO pulls last year haven't helped them. And - they have no QB ready to step up - Mackey's gone after next year and Brunetti/Stoudt could not move the offense. C.J. Beathard? Please.</div><div>

I will never count them out. Although things seem to be going our way, let's not forget how we finished last signing day.
I could see many of the state's top recruits deciding to go to other SEC schools as well. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I no longer drink the Kool Aid. It took several years to shake my Kool Aid addiction, and I now have a better perspective on recruiting.

What coach in their right mind would go there? Nutt's performance is about as good as it gets for Ole Miss. Then add the Cutcliffe reputation and the inner AD turmoil and it may be impossible for them to upgrade to a hire that would get the fanbase feeling good. <div>

into it (heppin, byu courses, adoptions, powe, education centers, etc.), you get **** return on your investment. All things being equal, an african-american recruit fits in better at MSU mainly b/c of the diversity of the student population, but other factors as well.
