He thinks Michigan will overtake Duke. Fine have your opinion. But then he takes a backhanded compliment at K and Duke's schedule by stating "Yeah, they went to Hawaii and MSG, but if you look at their schedule, all of the rest of their games are at home against Princeton, Yale, Stetson."
Like Billy Packer single-handily starting the "Duke gets all the calls" BS in the 2001 FF, this is where idiotic statements and the "Well Duke plays a weak schedule" and the fact we just played a TRUE road game makes us weak BS comes up. Michigan has played exactly five games away from Chrysler and only three true road games. The rest non-conference? Cupcake city AT HOME (Well, besides the Holes, but remember, the ACC-Big 14 challenge does not count
). Now granted, they could not help that Villanova fell off a cliff for one road game. But the other two were Big 14 basement Illinois and a not as good Northwestern (by a whopping two points).
What am I missing?
Oh yeah, that Princeton team that we demolished that just beat Arizona State and Penn (who beat Villanova)? Or what about Hartford, who has won 5-of-6 since playing us (including a win at BC). Or yeah, that Yale team that has won 6 in a row, beat Miami in Miami, drop kicked Cal, and lost to a "now has a pulse" Memphis team in double OT. Which all of this goes back to what I have said all along, K analyses about every opponent on who he schedules. It is AMAZING on year after year how many of the "cupcakes" he schedules makes the NCAAs
