Mine is not freezing at all. I have comcast internet. Don't know if that makes a difference.

I don't even have commercials, just sports trivia questions. Using my ipad and airplay to apple tv

When I first logged on the game looked good, but it quickly went to super crappy and hard to see. Every once in a while I get a couple of plays with great quality, but it never lasts.

My xbox was doing great untill it kicked me off, now the espn app wont load.

The quality has nothing to do with the video feed or the camera. ESPN3 reduces the quality of the image automatically to try to allow your internet to continue to stream without buffering. If you have a bad image and it's still buffering, then your internet is bogged down.
