Nor have we much hitting, period. It sucks that we've had to play through three starters being injured (Stark, Norris, Bradford), but I think our record shows that we've played very tough.
Our pitching staff is National Championship caliber though and I think we're going to be atleast as good, if not better next year. I think we're going to see Graveman and E. Mitchell turn into elite SEC players, as well as get significant contributions from Lindgren, R. Mitchell, Holder (he's already doing it), and Woodruff.
What I think could be the wildcard for next year is if Routt comes back and figures out how to throw his offspeed pitches for strikes.... and if CC Watson can contribute (although this is a really long shot). And what happens if Bracewell gets it right? He was our Friday night starter for this year. We could be scary deep at pitcher next year.
