Our baseball team blows. How in the world anyone could be anything but pissed at losing 2/3 at one of the most talented teams in the nation is beyond me.
...there is no way a SEC team should leave this many men stranded on 3rd.
And to add insult to injury, Florida was reduced to running down to the Gainesville Quickie Mart in order to find fresh arms.
I already addressed attempting a squeeze play in another comment.

I dunno how you can be this bad. I hate it for our pitchers. We have gotten timely hitting all year to this point with the exception of today's game, and really last night as well.<div>Forrest4Moore said:

Nor have we much hitting, period. It sucks that we've had to play through three starters being injured (Stark, Norris, Bradford), but I think our record shows that we've played very tough.
Our pitching staff is National Championship caliber though and I think we're going to be atleast as good, if not better next year. I think we're going to see Graveman and E. Mitchell turn into elite SEC players, as well as get significant contributions from Lindgren, R. Mitchell, Holder (he's already doing it), and Woodruff.
What I think could be the wildcard for next year is if Routt comes back and figures out how to throw his offspeed pitches for strikes.... and if CC Watson can contribute (although this is a really long shot). And what happens if Bracewell gets it right? He was our Friday night starter for this year. We could be scary deep at pitcher next year.

UF threw four pitchers yesterday. The starter (Crawford, 56.1 IP at 3.67 era) only threw 4.0 IP yesterday.
After him, Larsen and Poyner(already mentioned) followed him.
They finished the game with Kish, who threw 3.2 IP. On the season, he's thrown 20.2 IP at 0.87 era.
Again, which one of these guys is working the Quickie Mart? They all look like quality pro prospects to me.
Bashing on UF's pitching was one of the dumbest things ever posted in the history of this board. They have one of the best 10 staffs in college baseball.
The guy that started today (Whitson) has thrown 24.1 IP this year at a 3.33 era clip (not too bad there either).

UF's pitchers either had an off weekend or we forced them into walking a lot of batters. Could be a slight combination of both.
Before the weekend, they had 90 walks given up as a staff. I believe we walked 15 times this weekend... meaning we increased their walked batters by 15% in just 3 games. Sounds like great plate discipline by us.
