Texas-San Antonio has only been playing football for three years, and they have a better team than we do.

So much money is being thrown at this program, with no results. There are way too many people sitting on massive paychecks doing almost nothing. I'd fire every person remotely associated with the football program, including the hotdog vendors and locker room custodians.

I'm down. The fact that people defend this staff is f'n laughable. Get destroyed at home by Northern Illinois.

Also, I feel like we may want to give o'brien a shot. Lee had been sucking major gonads.

Donations to the rest of the university, as well as out-of-state enrollment, are both directly tied to success on the football field. So it matters. A lot.

Tanner Lee is getting destroyed by his oline either with missed blocks or penalties. What the hell do you want by him.

It's not just the coaching staff. The athletic department has dozens of employees that are supposed to be helping keep the football program organized, help with recruiting, physically develop players' bodies, market the program, etc. and none of it is working. There are far too many people coasting through life in cushy jobs with big salaries, and clearly NONE of it is working. Northern Illinois has 1/5th the football budget of Nebraska and they are clearly the better program.

I knew it was going to be a stuggle when Vegas had us at 6.5 wins. After Arky State I knew this was a 5 to 7 win team. Hopefully we pull out today and can get to 6 to get some bowl practices for the younger guys.

Man it is really, really hard to be positive after that half of football. Good lord was that ugly.

I was skeptical of the Riley hire from the beginning but man I want him to work out. Hopefully a better 2nd half and a win.

I like Frost, but we need a BIG name to resurrect the past 16 years of ****. Clean house and spend the money needed to get where we need to be. If it's even possible anymore...

Oline play made Lee look even worse - but the bad decision making and inaccurate passes were still there. Plus some nice drops today too. All around embarrassment of a football game.
