is exactly what I thought when I read the title of your thread. dude nailed it. LSU hates the entire conference (save Vandy) and the entire conference hates them.
LSU co-worker told me LSU-Tulane was a big rivalry decades ago.
But they don't have a real rival. There's no team out there they hate with a passion and really long to beat. No team that stings extra bad when they lose to them.
Sure it would be good if our team was as good as their's, but I think they're missing something by not having a real rival.

OM has a competitive record against LSU overall. LSU used to have bumper stickers, etc, that referred to OM. However, I don't think LSU's players know it's a rivalry. Perhaps, the last two years have changed their attitude. <div>
