I'm excited to see what becomes of a very splintered group

Rick and Carl
Glen and the bus
Daryl and Beth
Tyrese and Sasha. Maggie? Michonne?
Gov's woman and her sister
Carol even?

I'm not even sure what the 17 just happened. Gonna need to watch again in slow motion or something.

I'll be honest, it kind of pissed me off.

I just have a hard time believing that all of those people would just blindly decide to kill for the governor. Especially when Rick says all of them are welcome. It also bothers me that Rick never told them anything about what the Governor had previously done.

If they didn't want to fight, it wouldn't have been much of a show. Shows don't always make real world sense to move the plot forward. LOST is another good example of this... Week in and week out I'd yell at my TV that if the group would just talk to each other and share information **** would be easier on them... Then I realized that if they did that, then the story would be over in 6 episodes.

That's just how it is. Suspend your disbelief.

I guess it's one of those cases where persons are smart but people are dumb. I was for sure that no big battle was going to happen either after Rick talked for a minute. Boy was i wrong.

No I definitely agree with that, but I just feel like the buildup could have been different in previous episodes. Maybe if they had shown the other group as somewhat hostile, but they were perceived as very anti-conflict. The episode was crazy, and I knew that something big would happen, I just feel like it could have come together in a much more believable manner. It is frustrating like you said when you know exactly what to say but the characters are clueless.

I thought it was a great episode. The problem is they keep changing writers. The new writer is trying to follow the comics more closely so he had to rush everything together to get to this point.

In17ingTents is right!!! One of my favorite programs, but I have to tell you those people are the worst shots I have ever seen. One group advancing at a walk, the other group firing away and not hitting anybody. Also, bullets not penetrating the file cabinet! But, like one of the earlier posters said, just suspend reality and enjoy. I do.

The shooting is the only thing really that i don't like about the show. They can never miss a zombie head at 20 yards with a pistol. But spend 100 rounds to shoot an actual person in a battle with rifles equipped optics.
