it's not another OM thread. MSU lost all chance for an SEC title with the loss to Florida but a top 4 will be a first round bye.

<div>Of course, since we play Arkansas twice and Vandy once, it really helps our RPI more for Arkansas to beat Vandy. (I think your ** means you know that)</div><div>
</div><div>HOWEVER, it helps us subjectively for Vandy to beat Arkansas (and keep winning). Then Vandy would be a quality away win for us.</div><div>
</div><div>But then again, it helps us stay in the top 2-4 of the SEC (by both record and RPI) if Vandy loses both and continues to lose some games. If we're fighting for a bubble spot vs Vandy or the committee is choosing either Vandy or State for the 3rd best seed in the SEC, then it helps us for Vandy to have a worse record than State.</div><div>
</div><div>So we win either way. </div>

For the last spot in the tournament right now. As strong as the SEC is this year, we will get 5 in.

Kentucky - 1 seed
Florida - 3 or 4 seed
Vandy - 4,5 or 6 seed
Mississippi St- 5,6,or 7 seed

Bubble
Bama
Ole Miss

I think we still have a chance to finish in 2nd or 3rd in the SEC, especially if we get a healthy and sober Deville..
We need to at least win 4 of the next 5, going 5-0 is very possible...

Pigs, Bama, Mississippi are all in the thick of it right now as good as their RPI's are...and the Pigs are about to take down Vandy for another big boost <div>
</div><div>Hell, I think Mississippi has a better resume than us right now- not 100% sure though</div>

Ole Miss has only one top 50 RPI win (vs MSU). We have three. They also have a "bad loss" to Auburn. We have none. So no their resume is not as good as ours.

I dont think they are any better than us or deserve a higher seed than us. But everytime you hear Jimmy Dykes, Joe Lunardi, and Jay Bilas it makes you realize they all have a hard on for Vanderbilt. After last night I would probably bump Vandy down below us and put Arkansas on the bubble with Bama and OM

MSU RPI 35 SOS 63 Biggest Wins: Vandy 25 RPI,West Virginia 31 , Alabama 37, LSU 77, and Arizona 88

Ole Miss RPI 42 SOS 35 Biggest Wins MSU 35 RPI, Arkansas 47, Miami 56, Drake 95, and TCU 108

The argument could easily be made for Ole Miss to make the tourney but not for them to make it over MSU. Not only that but Ole Miss has had a fairly easy SEC schedule so far with more home than awaygames and playing on the road at UGA. Their schedule is about to kick their *** for the next 2 weeks.
