Poo-Poo platter of SEC games. The only two remotely appealing games are SC/Mizzou and Vandy/UGA. Vandy at UGA is a potential trap game (ESPN2 slot) and has a puncher's chance of being interesting. Given how close Vandy played them last year AND how close they played SCar in week 1 I expect UGA's A Game. LSU and Auburn may be interesting for a quarter. Pretty much everyone else is taking the week off. And I include UK at Florida as the Gators taking the week off.

People like you crack me up......

Every fall football Saturday is a great Saturday. Not sure what it would take to please some of you. How do you really even know which games are good anyway on the 4th weekend of the year?

Games of interest to me:

Ole Miss @ Tulane - What do the rebels do on the road after an emotional high game where they got crushed?
Kentucky @ Florida - Switch between the rebels and this. Is Kentucky really that horrible?
LSU @ Auburn - Can Auburn validate that they were a quality win?
Rutgers @ Arkansas - RU is 3-0, does the Hog meltdown continue?
Vandy @ Georgia - Would love to see Vandy silence these clowns.
Missouri @ South Carolina - One is going to establish themselves as for real.
USA @ M$U - obvious

Not to mention the host of other big name games on Saturday night. Clemson @ FSU is of particular importance as well in showing the quality of the Auburn win. Rich Rod vs. Oregon? K State vs. Oklahoma? Notre Dame Michigan? Looks like a sports bar type of night to me.

Agreed. Plenty of chances away from Starkville for State to move up.

e.g., KState.

And they seemed to brag about it

Overall the weekends slate will keep my attention for a bit.

Starting tonight, Baylor & ULM.

By the way I've got two tickets I'd sell. (Cheap)

My point was that the really big games in week 4 are out of conference

ND/Michigan is the headliner and FSU/Clemson is the game with the most significance. An ACC semifinal playoff in week 4, if you will.

I concur that any weekend of college football is a great weekend. This particular weekend is heavy on the PPV caliber matchups within the SEC and of the limited in conference games, the blowout/mismatch potential is pretty high (2 out of the 4)

Only thing I hate about our game being at 6 is I am going to miss 3 or 4 games I would like to see.

I thought this might be the strongest weekend yet for good games to watch.
