looking forward to the ninja interview

liked the reference to sheldon richardson opening his mouth wide early in the season at Mizzou. Surprisingly, he has been quiet since huh? Old man football eh? I noticed during the USC game he was doing a lot of butt patting after plays on the gamecock players. His measure of respect for SEC teams has changed I guess.

I think he was speaking specifically of Georgia's offense being old man football, not the entire SEC.

I read it a little different

"I watched that game. I turned it off, too," Richardson said. "It's like watching Big Ten football. It's old-man football. If we execute, nobody in this league can touch us. Period."

I took that to mean the entire league was slow, uninteresting and would not pose a problem for Mizzou.

The show was good. I'm amazed at how much the G sounds like Dick Cross. No offence intended just a casual observation.

Really good show and I'm looking forward to the Ninja.

I do have a question for HD6... you talked quite a bit about how State shouldn't be ranked. And yes, we looked lackluster in the Troy and South Alabama games... but where you would you honestly rank us? Who would you put in the poll over us?

I could care less about rankings, but I have a hard time believing that there are 25 teams who have appeared better than us this year.

Is Northwestern's win over Vandy better than our win over Auburn? UCLA, Michigan, VaTech, Ok-State, and Arizona all have losses... Is Iowa State, LaTech, or Texas Tech's resume better than ours? I just don't see any of those teams having fared more deserving of votes than us. I'll hang up and listen to your answer.

I think HD6's point was if Marcello didn't have us ranked the previous week, he didn't think we should ranked after the South Alabama game.

I took it as if he didn't think State deserved to be ranked, which may have been incorrect. Good show though, I need to listen more often.

After looking at the polls and seeing who is just in front or just behind us... I have a hard time finding teams that have an argument to be ahead of us. Just by process of elimination, I think we should be in most polls, regardless of how lethargic we looked against USA.

I can see people thinking Auburn isn't as bad as maybe they previously thought, especially if they only looked at their score vs LSU. A better Auburn would mean a better State. ... But probably people just move the winners up and the losers down.

What if he had us #26 and several teams he had just above us lost? Why wouldn't he move us up then? It's not like we **** the bed against USA. We were up 30-3 after the 1st play of the 4th quarter.
