I never understood the Thomas fit for UK. Having said that, he may have been Pope's 1st choice for all I know. But if Lewis is the 2nd unit PG, I would rather have better contrast with the starter - someone bigger, stronger and more experienced. I actually like Demary better for UK, and I like a number of other potential PG options better than Demary.

I would offer it to the Maryland guy first and if's he's not interested give it to Demary.
There's no reason to panic but this portal stuff is ridiculous and way worse than high school recruiting. I can't keep up with it and idk who is actually any good.

Well, they don’t have an infinite amount of cash. I’m sure they won’t give him as much as Dybantsa, so there’s at least some limits.

If you guys are really fans you need to chill out. Give Pope a chance to put this roster together and quit worrying about it. We have three very good freshman, and a solid guy from the portal at this point. We’re actually going to have guys returning next season and they are all going to improve. We get a few more guys on board, and we will have a good basketball team.
In Popes first year look at what he accomplished with a team that had more injuries than any Kentucky team that I can remember. He’s got a plan and I think he’s going to do a great job. If he doesn’t and fails, you can call me out on it all you want to

I sure hope the staff has someone serious in mind then. I am hoping they have an eye on certain guys and put out interest in these early guys to see what’s up, but wanna be selective. The top guys getting off the board is not great but we will see how it goes. Just hope we don’t wait too long.
