Quinn Buckner, I've seen people say, was the greatest athlete they've seen. He's not going to be on the field this Thursday (per Raider twitter) for the Falcons.

I still reserve the right to san--uhh provide alternative facts as a preview to this contest should the need arise.

Quinn Buckner was a stud and all around good guy!
Back a few years now. Coach thought it was a good idea to kick off to Quinn Buckner while playing at Rich Central. 6 points later we still had not learned and kicked away again...finally learned after the second time but my Kavanaugh memory I don’t remember the second outcome..but there was not a third. Bones...are the Falcons that good this year? I have the sand only.

Sad to see how bad it’s gotten there.I recall some pretty good teams there who got some bad breaks.Really taking a beating.I know a few years ago they were supposed to be closed

Playing on Thursday because they also have teacher parent conferences on Friday and they also couldn't get enough workers to handle both events on Friday night is what I was told. I also believe Thornwood also has the same issue with LWE in a few weeks and that's why they will be playing a Thursday night game as well....

This is the type of game that shouldnt be played. No one gets anything out of it. Hopefully Thornridge can get it together in the Southland and get their numbers back up so they can be competitive.

Thornridge giving up 60 points and Thornton 46 to Bloom and Rich East, respectively, this season (both from the Southland Conference) does not bode well for quick impact by D205 in their new league. Also, Crete-Monee and Rich Central will loom large yearly. Over the long haul, however, hopefully some better success can come for those players and coaches.

I'd take my chances with CM and RC 100 of 100x if I was the Thorns. I don't see a SWSC game where Ridge and Wood don't get clocked outside or each other. Thornton is different, but in the Southland they should be able to challenge for conference championship.

Ridge makes those Joliet Central teams look competitive.

Bones,
Correct and even more so in baseball.
