I also like that he didn't ***** in the press conference about our mean players. Guess his seat isn't as hot as Les'.

they'd keep him, for his antics alone. That guy makes Orgeron seem calm.

ETA: Sumlin isn't just a good coach. He's a good guy.

Drake...nasty injury. Need to get rid of that turf. Second compound fracture of horrible nature I've seen on that field. But back to Sumlin, he was giving us credit before the game. Said on film we're the best team they've played and probably going to play and complimented our DL. He took the *** beating well in the press conference. He looked shell shocked actually. He took it well though. Props to him.

Kenny Hill took it like a man as well. His summary of the game:
"They just beat us. They had a great game plan and just stomped us. Credit them." That's how you do it. That kid is gonna be really tough in a year or two.

Saban is a classless jerk. But in a 1-score game I'd be using my time outs too.

Correct me if I'm wrong... But Saban. Didn't use a time out. The first kneal happened with :48, meaning you guys had to kneal it again before time expired. I don't remember him using a timeout.

According to the box score, UM got the ball at 0:37 & Bama called time out at 0:31. Like paindonthurt said, there's always a chance of a fumble on the snap.

Didn't someone fumble the snap out of the victory formation this weekend? If so, that may have been why he took it.

decided to run a play. Possibly the biggest boneheaded play I've ever seen.

Florida vs tenn. fla in victory formation and the tenn noseguard grabbed the fla centers arm right before the snap. And fla fumbled it. The refs called offsides and replay showed the refs got it right.

I don't blame him. We could have fumbled and with only one score he did what he probably should have done.

I thought it was bush league by Sumlin to onside kick with 2:00 to go down 24!! Yeah they recovered and got a trash TD but to me that is not the thing to do when there is no chance in hell you win the game.

Can't fault him for that. He was fighting to the last second. That's his job as coach.

It was a 4 score game with 2 minutes. 2 scores yeah he's trying to win the game. There is no way you are winning the game down 4 scores with 2 minutes. He was just trying to make it respectable so they didn't drop as much in the polls.

I have no problem with it. It was a one score game. Although ole miss fumbling was as likely as a team missing a PAT on the same possession

Sumlin classy? Did anybody read his comments about Starkville in the CL this wk

Clarion Ledger had a trash talk section. Sumlin say....."Starkville is a black hole in the middle of nowhere. People still point at planes as they fly by. Yeah...real classy.
