I was there because my wife is a graduate of AU and I also am a fan myself.
We sat in the end zone next to the Ole Miss section. I never really grasped how much they enjoy the "Land Sharks" idea until I saw some shark hates, a baby in a shark costume (granted it was Halloween), and old women doing the hand sign evertime they were on defense. They did not have a large group of fans there but they were impressively loud at times.

Final observation and the main reason for the post is the taking the helmet off while on the field rule. After AU blocked the extra point the Ole Miss kicker took his helmet off in the middle of the field right over the AU logo. It was so blatant and an official told him to put it back on. I do not like the rule but if it is a rule then call it. The official knew it was wrong that is why he told him to put it back on. I understand he did not want to add insult to injury but it is a rule not just a sometimes rule.

Alos while exiting the stadium the Ole Miss band was playing Dixie and my brother and I passed an Ole Miss student and my brother said "how bout them land shrks" the ole miss guy replied with "well at least we will always have dixie"...... racists

Oh yeah I saw Eli Manning and he has gotten FAT.....(really just a guy in an Eli jersey that we made fun of)

But your post then glamorizes, or at least promotes, motorcycle thugs. Thuggery is just as bad as racism.

right after he'd had his extra point blocked. The ref handled that the right way, based on what you posted.

I know a UM fan who goes so far as to only buy Land Shark beer for his kegerator. I think he even has to drive an hour to pick it up because it isn't sold locally. He also has the tap handle and neon light for it.

I don't want to start a favorite/ worse beer thread- but that stuff is horrible.
