I’ve never understood why Tom hasn’t banned this troll’s a$$. Someone who uses another person’s real name should be cut off immediately. This is all kinds of horse sh|t.
There is only one kind of person that would allow this to continue to happen, for years now. SMH. Unfortunately, there are several such people who could ban the a-hole but for some reason choose not to do so. Total horse shjt.

I’m anti burning books and burning witches. If BOSS banned Barry, surely the glen campbell guy would cancel FIDLAR

Franklin-friendly, for sure. Anyone on the page and many other could win equally or better with PSU’s schedule and resources.

Need a few signature wins to actually be this lofty.
Said many a Cornhusker fan until the roof fell in.
In 2014 PSU wasn't even in the top 20 of "resources."

Doesn’t apply in this case…judging coaches should be done equally across the board, not holding one to higher standards than all the others.

This old ruse again…nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Or we can revel in defeating the mighty Potato State.

PSU is a sleeping giant.

LOL. Pretty deep sleep. So only coaching has been holding PSU back for the past 39 years! I'll bet this form of chauvinism doesn't exist in any other fan base. So a sleeping giant? What next? National Championships are Penn State's Manifest Destiny?

Tough to complain about Coach Franklin at this time. Enjoy the ride.
I wouldn't argue to cement him into the top 5.......but he undoubtably belongs somewhere in the top 10. That's also how I see PSU football overall.

Hyperbole much…or just suppressing your own feelings?

Not just coaching but coaching has been a key contributor…one signature win in 11 years….at this pace, he will match Joe’s number of sugnature wins in just a single season (a number of those) in half a century…..

How can you be in the Top 10 if you have not beaten any top teams?

Unrealistic fanboy expectations lead to the perception of underperformance. Hence, the myth that somehow "WE" deserve better.
Or is it participation trophy fanboys that accept wins over 1AA powerhouses and potato state victories and think we are getting somewhere?

And we wonder how the USA’s education system fell from #1 to #42 in the last 40 years. Too many happy to accept “good enough.”

Somehow, James will find the strength to survive your critism. I imagine it won't be easy

I for one, admit I'm too soft to be an internet tough guy fan.

I love Joe. Breaking news... Joe’s dead.
But if you can get him up and on the sidelines....he's my man.

When anti- Franklin guys can just call any team we beat Potato State, it’s a pretty easy argument. Had we beat OSU last year, they would have had three losses, not made the playoffs, and it wouldn’t be considered a signature win by many on here.

You’re fighting against guaranteed losses. Why do that? This year it’s O at home and OSU. No worries. With this new system we get post season 65% of the time, good enough. 15% of the time we’ll get lucky with our bracket like last year, MORE POTATOES! Go State beat Boise

My point is posters just say that every game we win is against an easy team, so there will never be a “signature win” in some posters’ eyes.

The goal post moves. Historically, SMU and Boise aren’t the strongest teams, but last year they were pretty good clubs . 2-1 in the playoffs for Franklin . ND game was a very close one. Not going into the weeds on that but we were right there .

Oh silly. The signature wins this season are OSU and O (the guaranteed losses) another sig win opportunity very recently that comes to mind……ND. Don’t be daft, we won’t have it

same old same old. What’s an sig win one asks, it’s the games marked as guaranteed losses. Fact: smu and Boise were not signature wins, sorry

When does a top 3 team have a signature win ? They are most often either favored or a pick'em, with no guaranteed losses. By your definition, Saban didn't have too many sig wins either.

Sabans sigs are the rings on his fingers. Now you’re being daft
Over the past decade, Alabama's most prominent and memorable wins in football include their five national championships (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017), six SEC Championship victories (2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2020), and a streak of 15 consecutive seasons with a top-10 ranking.
