I don't think either offense would be held under 50 points. Talk about a national audience tuning in to see the show.

I am definitely going to the Bowl game regardless of where it is, but this would make it all the better!

they have lost to every team worth a damn this year due to having no defense. Memphis has a better defense than them.

Mallet is probably the best passer in the country right now and Newton is one of the top QBs that has played in college football as long as I have watched. We shut down Newton the second half. I doubt shoestrings is that much better than Newton.

Michigan is horrible, I agree, but their offense is powerful. They are #9 at 500 yds a game and we're #50 at 394 yds a game

Alcorn State?

Memphis - Not a running QB.
Auburn - Held heisman trophy winner and best dual threat QB in history of collegegame to 17 points.
LSU - Had we not given them the ball 5 times, we would've held them to under 20 points. Definitely held theirJJ in check.
UGA - Not a running QB
Alcorn - Is their QB the best a dual-threat QB did to us this year?
Houston - Not a running QB.
Florida - Not a running QB (Burton did move the ball well on us though... Urban should've played him the entire 2nd half).
UK - Held them to 24 points.
Alabama - Not a running QB.
Arkansas - Not a running a QB.
Ole Miss - Held them to 21 points.

Personally, I'm not scared of a running QB at all. Denard Robinson, if we play them, would be the best one we've played... but our defense is very, very fast. I think we'd match up just fine with Michigan.

And for the record, our offense would drop 40+ on theird defense and we've yet to give up 40 in a game this year (even with a double OT game against a potent offense).

in our last two games: one was against Arkansas, ranked #7 and going to a BCS Bowl game. All of the power running teams they played crushed them: Wisconsin, Ohio St. Iowa, etc. Even Illinos put up over 60 pts (yes I know it was an OT game) I like our chances to ball control them and put up 40-50 points.

Oh ok. Appreciate it. The guy that I would be referring to, could care less himself. Anyhow, it's nice to know for future purposes.

I think I'd rather go to the Gator vs Michigan than play anyone in the Chick-Fil-A. Best for me as a fan and my family, anyway. As a Penn State fan, I've come to dislike Michigan. But they're a huge 'name' in college football that is beatable this year.

Of course, I also recognize that MSU in the CFA might be better for thousands of other MSU fans, so CFA would be my #2. Maybe Gator vs Penn State would be my #3 (would be a little weird for me). I'm also OK with Music City now.

team from the Big 10. If we showed up and played well, then we'd win by 8.

50 points? When did our defense become so bad? We're second in the SEC in allowing TDs. (It's like one TD every 29 or 30 plays or something like that. Robinson is good, but we aren't a slow Big10 defense either. We're a very good fast SEC D. I think we would handle Michigan. They would get some points, but I would take the Dogs 38-24.

Our defense is pretty good. We won't shut him down completely, but if we can contain him just a few times and not turn the ball over, we should be in good shape.

Ummm... Denard Robinson is no Cam Newton or Ryan Mallet. He's an absolute beast again teams with no defense... and their defense isn't anything to right home about. In my opinion, this'll look alot like the Ole Miss game.
