I bought this one a year and a half ago. It's a staff cart bag. I used it for a year. Looks great, works great. Been sitting in my golf caddy for about 6 months. Was going to put it on ebay, but I've been lazy (or busy, depends on how you look at it).<div>
</div><div>Not trying to get in trouble for soliciting, but if PM me if you want to talk about it.</div><div>

Stick to a Titleist or Callaway bag .. otherwise you come across as a weekend hack imo.

... have Alabama bags they most likely bought at Wal Mart. Occasionally you'll see one from Auburn.<div>
</div><div>The MSU bags look OK but they're about 3 times too expensive.</div>

But these are sun mountain and expensive, honestly I'm getting tired on everyone assuming you are LSU fan where I live so I try to
show my MSU colors as much as possible. Plus my club is mostly old farts who hate guys like me (30's) so this would even piss them off more. I can see them saying "how did this MSU guy get to be a member here?"

I usually shoot in the mid/high 80's so I'm not great but decent so probably go with the stand bag, Cart bag is too big and I like
To occasionally walk.

You do realize that Sun Mountain bags are at least $199. They also make all the Titleist bags

and I like it. It is very durable and it looks heavy but it's not. I can only fit three maybe four cans with ice in the cooler, although it is insulated and has a hole for water drainage if you want to use ice.

even if they think they're good golfers.Truth be told, if people counted every shot, played the ball down etc.. theaveragescore for mostpeoplewould be 95 or higher. I read anarticlethat stated that 80% of people shoot 95 or higher. There was one thread on the board a few months back and people were claiming that they could drive the ball 280-300 yardsconsistently. Let me be the first to say that this is a load of ********. If that was the case, they would be on tour.

Agree 100% with you on that BogeyGolfer.

Sun Mountain makes good bags and I think the stand bag looks good, not too obnoxious.

I've learned that it doesn't matter what in the hell the golfer looks like when they walk up to the range, first tee, etc. They could have a hanging bag full of garden tools and proceed to backwoods crush a ball. Get the bag you like that will hold up for a while and have some fun.

it is a good bag and I would recommend it. Sun Mountain makes bags for Callaway, Cleveland and a few more. It is a good looking bag that will last. As for the cart bag I wouldnt know. I still use a stand bag.

Start golf bag company exclusively for Alabama schools. Call it "Sand Mountain" bags and see if anybody notices. Include convenient hiding places for meth/oxycontin.

Golf has rules for a reason, and from my observations most break those rules. They'll set the ball up in the fairway and the rough, kick it out from behind a tree ... whatever it takes. And they take no penalty for it. That's not golf. As Phil says in the ad ... "play it as it lies".<div>
</div><div>And I've never seen an amateur that legitimately averages a 300 yard drive. Very few tour players do.</div>

Yeah if you play it down everywhere, and putt everything out it makes a pretty big difference to a ten handicapper. That is why a little friendly $10 nassau putt everything out/play it down is good for everyone.

Hitting it long doesn't make you a great player...I think most people know that. I have seen alot of amatuers consistently hit tee balls 300 yards, and I have seen several nationwidetour guyshave tee balls at285...but there is a big difference in their games. Those that just drive it long consistently will understand the difference when they play with a seasoned player. We have a few formernationwide guys atmy chosen place to play....they know the difference in the big tour and your average player. </p> I read something that about 20% of golfers in the world could carry a handicap of 17-18 or below (89) legitimately.

I played competitive golf for 3 years and had the chance of playing with some really good players. There's a big difference between a scratch golfer and a tour player. Trust me. You do realize how hard it is to make the tour right? With time and practice, its not that hard to dip below a 10 handicap.

Most of the younger generation can easily average 280 off the tee today due to the technology and athletic/physical shape.

I play with one group that counts every stroke, for example had a guy take a 13 on a hole instead of his given triple. Another group allows one mulligan per nine holes. Unless you practice every week, inconsistency is the only thing that's consistent.

So might as well make it fun and give yourself a 2nd shot every once in a while but at the same time, don't claim you shot 85 when I saw you take 3 drives on one hole.

For driving it 300, I have two guys I've played with who can do it on average. Both are single digit.

Differentcourses are rateddifferentlyfrom each oftheirtees.<div>
</div><div>I.E. - If you shot 90 on a course rated 73.9 you would be a 16 handicap.</div><div>
</div><div>Also your handicap is your top 10 out of 20 scores. Once you get a total of 20 rounds recorded you take the top ten and the average score in those 10 rounds, against the rating of the course they were shot on, is what you base your handicap off of. The point of a handicapisn'tto capture your average round but toprotectthe field you are playing against from what you arecapableof shooting.</div>
