Thoughts on Riley at CU

Thoughts on Riley? He was one of the hottest OC names in the country a could years ago. I know Clemsux hasn't performed all that great under him. But, rumor is that he doesn't have full control of the offense under Dabo..... We know Beamer has a convention with the Riley family and I think our AD was at TCU when Riley ran their O.
Clemson is already looking for a scapegoat and Dabos seat is getting hot. I could see them letting Riley go before the end of the season. We know Beamer would give him full control of the O here and it's a easy move for Riley.

He hasn't been able to produce with the talent that school upstate has. EXTREMELY hard pass.

Clemson has serious issues on both sides of the ball. Their D was supposed to be dominant and they aren't and their offense was supposed to be great as well.

Dabo's portal and NIL philosophy is admirable. but I don't think it is going to work.

Agree, and another reason that Riley hasn't been as successful at CU.
We have a HC that is pretty good working the portal, give Riley the guys he needs and get out of the way.

The lack of portal use isn’t Dabo’s problem. They returned the most production in the country this season from a team that won their conference, again. One bad loss on the season, which is usually the case for almost every team, every season. What exactly did they from the portal?

It was a great hire by Dabo. Anyone would have considered it a slam dunk no-brainer at the time. Just hasn't produced the results desired.
