  • We just don't know how to win. It's a simple as that. It's just a team that doesn't know how to win. It's just hard to explain.
  • Dixon just doesn't have it and today kept on proving it. He has the mind of 195 pound speedster in a 240 pound body.
  • Where has Arnil Stallworth been all season? He broke that KY LB's ankles on his TD reception
  • Tyson Lee was pretty good today. We still only scored 14 pts but he still was good.
  • 4th and 1 play was killer as was the pass interference on Pegues (weak call).
  • Our horrific run-blocking OL is a shame. J.B. Grimes has to have some accountability.
  • Black McAdams - I don't know what you have done to start kicking well but kudos.
  • Carlson - I am a better kicker than you are.
  • MooTube - unbelievable. That thing is unreal. If there is one better in the SEC, please show me. Smartest thing we did was to not have the sun shining directly on it. It was the highlight of my afternoon besides taking a **** in the union UNLESS there is a slim chance we are one game closer to the Croom era being over.

I hear ya. 3rd & goal inside the 5 and the QB trips over the RB's feet. No other way to say it. Just can't win.

I understand the need to roll Lee out. But the problem I saw today was that he was not rolling out parallel to the LOS. Every time he rolled out he was running AWAY from the line of scrimmage and then trying to throw across his body to complete a 5 yard pass. His rollouts need to be shortened. I know that Tyson Lee is short, but he's not the first vertically challenged QB in the history of college football. If his vision is that seriously impaired, then we need to just go back to the redhead and take our lumps.

  • Looked like Croom had a ggod game plan first half. KY made adjustments second half, Croom did not.
  • Halftime stat for Dixon: 8 rushes for 3 yards
  • Agree on Stallworth
  • Lots of bogus calls. KY holding all day. Kept waiting for tron operator to freeze frame and circle the holding with the yellow marker.
  • O Line had Lee running all day. To bad he can't trust anyone to cover his blind side.
  • Game ball to McAdams for the 70 yd. bomb.

JB Grimes should be fired. 5 years to build an o-line and he's failed.

Dixon is a waste of God-given size and ability.

Lee is pretty good. He's handcuffed by ****** playcalling. We move the ball down the field pretty well in the shot gun, then we get in third down and we put the midget under center...and he gets sacked. It's just stoopid. How many times did that happen today? He's a gutsy guy, but damn, he's too short to play under center.

Our offense needs to be perfect (no penalties, no negative plays to be effective. And, that's apparently too much to ask from this group of players.

Mootube looks sweet...can't wait to see the finished product.

is that he does not tuck it and run. When he rolls out and there is grass in front of you, it doesn't hurt to run.

Addendum: The only bad thing about our defense was the ability to not stop a screen pass. They killed us with it in the 1st and 2nd halves.

We don't expect to win. We think we could and maybe even think we should but we don't expect to win, and to be honest why would we.

The Junction was much cleaner but I did manage to get a couple of pictures of an AWFUL tail gate with trash everywhere I will post soon.

Lee would be a good to great QB in the C-USA, MAC, WAC and maybe even the Pac Ten. Not the SEC......

The best QB in the stadium today is in his mid 40's......do the math......

DS I have to disagree with you about Dixon. I think he would be a headliner at a big school with a big, powerful line. He has ZERO options 80% of the time he touches it.

Croom said Dixon left X amount of yards on the field last year. I take your X amount of yards Croom and raise you Q. Saulsbury(sp?) leaving 30-40 first downs on the field. Are we really this thin on the O-line? Seriously?

The HD-Tron is bad ***. DS your right, thank God it isn't facing the sun. That thing was the only positive today.

On a related note, the shadow it casts will be a problem. It cost us a pick today. We have to get used to it.

And finally, I have hesitated calling for Crooms job until now. Enough is enough. I have never wanted anyone to win more but it just ain't happening.

I talked to a few "Cigar Boys" and MSU "employees" today and after what they confided in me I feel totally confident in making the statement above.

that they cannot pass the ball over 5 yds and have anything that resembles accuracy. I mean come on, I played football in my yard with guys, including myself that had more accuracy 10 yards down the field than either of these guys. I know it is not that easy, and I am kind of joking, but seriously, how damn hard is it to throw the ball downfield with just a little accuracy?

How bout a couple of details, like say, what makes you confident now as opposed to yesterday?

purpose of you post, allow me to give you some advice.

NEVER bring up backyard football as a comparison to SEC football. Period.

I agree with your post. We are not very accurate at all but seriously heed my advice.

maybe you missed the part of my post where I said I was kind of joking. Either way, my point is that our talent level at qb has to be one of the worst in the nation. What does it take to earn the qb spot for state? Here if you can throw the ball 5 yds it is yours? It is crap, how can we not have anyone on the team that can complete a pass over 5 yards. BTW, I kicked *** at back yard football. Deal with it.

He completely fails to see wide open receivers all day long. Lee does not make bad plays and right now that is the best we have. But he leaves points on the field.

its about being so bad in so many phases of the game, you will find ways to lose. Bad teams make bad plays.

And I really don't get the Dixon hate. He's a good back. Great? no. Really good? no. But he's good. Sure he dances but where do ya'll want him to run? The bottom line with this offense is that our offensive line is atrocious. There's usually no hole for Dixon to hit. And when that happens, your run game sucks, and then your pass protections sucks and when your run game sucks, your play action isn't as effective. Dixon is about .5% of the problem. Ducre always looks better b/c he usually gets carries on 2nd and 3rd and long often on a draw call. Dixon has to line up in run downs in the I behind that aforementioned line.

Video Board: Awesome.

Student body trying their best to wear maroon: I thought they gave a damn good effort. I was shocked how many people wore maroon. We really shouldn't have to ask people though, it should be a given.

Ironic moment of the day: We run read option and Lee makes the proper read as the DE came down the line to tackle Dixon. Lee keeps and the DE whifs on Dixon. He would have gone for six. We can't win for losing (I've never really understood that phrase, but I think it applies there.)
