First off, greetings from someone who was born and raised in Starkville. It's sad when a message board can serve as a news source for my hometown but then again, I never had much faith in the SDN. It's interesting seeing the rantings going back and forth about the state of MSU football and how some think the program is in the crapper. I'm 33 and I'm here to tell you doomers that this is not the worst team I've seen on Scott field. Yes, the offense is not what I hoped for and the defense isn't the best but damn it people, I have a childhood filled with the likes of Emory Bellard, Rockey Felker, and Jackie Sherrill so stop your bitching and go have some cheese with your wine. On another note, I'm currently living in Tupelo and there is nothing more thrilling than being surrounded by a bunch of bears and their sorry state of affairs. I can't tell you how many jackasses I came across covering ole miss through the years. They deserve this shitstorm and the more grief I hear spewing from their pieholes about how they keep loosing this and that and then trying to justify all of it by linking it somehow to a black person is beyond me. In someways, I'm almost kinda glad that Starkville High was moved down to 5A so they might play oxford and hopefully dominate them like they should (SHS class of '96) so I can say all my teams own all of that town. The one good thing I'll add is this: if you have a chance to be on the field on VH, do it. The girls that sit on the first few rows and wear dresses or skirts don't like to wear panties.
