We have no idenity on offense no creation what so ever its run the ball up the gut or throw wr screen we don't try to strech the field the kentucky defenders never got more than 10 yards off the line a scrimmage all night we never got creative the most casual fan knew what was about to happen ....the defense is not much better its like we just play base defense 90 percent of the time play not to lose nickoe well he's one of jps finest what can u say .....and last but not least special teams as the saying on days of thunder we look like a monkey 17n a football .....

Here's what the offensive play book should be...
Run behind Gabe Jackson on a RB Dive or a DESIGNED QB run on EVERY 1st down. I don't understand why we insist on making it harder on our selves than it has to be. I feel sorry for our players. Our coaches are holding them back so much. 2nd and 6 is a million times better than 2nd and 10. 2nd and 10 and we are totally 17'd. If we ever ever ever pass on 1st down, it should be a play action deep or a QB rollout. Our OL and our QBs and our RBs especially Josh Robinson who I think is better than Perkins at this point, is our strong point on down hill running and that's what we need to do to start drives! I don't know what Dan is thinking....it's just baffling. Go back and look at how successful we are when we run the ball downhill on first down or just run the ball period. It'll make you sick.

The fact that even Samantha Steele/Ponder made a comment about how even Russell says on the sidelines something on the lines of "I'm slow, I wouldn't have gotten that 1st down" and we still put Russell in and had him go on a designed run tells you everything you need to know.
What about when she asked him going into halftime if he was nervous or was he concerned about coming out in the second half flat like his teams have done lately. BURNNNN!!!!

Please explain why on 3rd and 1 we run Tyler (not blaming him)? Please explain why on this green earth is Bell punting instead of Baker or why we don't have another FG kicker. What's with playing two tight ends who haven't played all year and lord almighty why don't we punt on 4th down (with Baker not Bell) and see if we can pin them deep. I mean if you think your to close take a delay of game penalty, push it back 5 yards, hell even if u punt into the end zone you still pick up 15+ yards. There is one thing about this "new" Mullen (like the first 2 year mullen better)he is consistently inconsistent.

You hit it spot on, who gives a 17 if you had the longest run on sentence in the same as Misisippi...glad to see the fan base is wanting to win now. It's obviously out of our hands and into the so called "experts". Guess that's why we're just fans and not making the big money. It could always be worse and we could be watching Croom, wait a second....we're headed back to that. I would like to believe that our team is playing vanilla but I know that I am dead *** wrong. If Mullens/Stricklin don't get it together, they'll be watching the game with us in the stands.
I thought the PA announcer had made a mistake when he said Bell was punting. Then after I saw that it really was Bell, I assumed Swedenberg was hurt. To his credit however, Bell punted pretty well except for the fumble and safety (and it could have just as easily been a TD ... luck of the bounce). After that, he had the short kickoff into the wind, and apparently a shanked punt after I left the game.

This entire thread is great. One reason I love the pack. I'm bumping this to the front page for it's a much needed laugh in the middle of this disappointing and frustrating season to date. Center Z's post takes the cake.
