Thousands of QB's

I really like this move by the staff. As my thread title eludes to, there are thousands of QB's out there. I am not qualified to evaluate his talent other than what the naked eye sees, but at this level, NU should have the coaches in place to make him a damn good QB. It is way over statement to compare to the likes of a Manziel or some of the Alabama QB's, but I see an opportunity to have a QB in the pipeline like this.

Not only the coaching abilities, but the commitment of taking local talent when possible should be the hallmark of the staff. Midwestern athletes with the thread of others from across the nation is how it has been done here successfully.

Simply if theres talent in Nebraska, offer or bust thy *** to get preferred walkon with said kid. Myself i dont care if the kids from my home towm Beatrice Nebraska or England (id assume England kids would be more soccer anyways). If the kids go talent, offer and bust thy *** to get them here. Im with most, id love to see a bunch of Nebraska boys on the team but ONLY if they got the talent above the rest of the kids in that position. Im not only for Nebraska boys, im for the absolute best we can get, period

Me too; and I may not fully understand all the demand yet; but its real. A few things he must have. 1) Will raise the overall talent level of any squad he joins, possibly flexible in positions. 2) Character to develop and train, wisdom to listen; teams lose about 40% of top recruits in this area.
