Why the hell would they go for Nutt <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">after a 4-8 season</span>?

There aren't any really good candidates out there right now, and I highly doubt LSU wants to go the coordinator route, so that eliminates a lot of people. Pelini knows the program, has HC experience, and I'm sure he still has ties in Louisiana.

Crazy like a traveling preacher and will ruin a qb but his offenses will always be productive running the ball. When he leaves Ole Miss for LSU maybe Nix would get promoted to Head Coach.

why would they want nutt? Would be interesting to see who LSU went after if Miles does in fact go to Michigan though.

Auburn can't pay Malzahan much more if any that is... LSU should go in for him and it would be a win win for us. We don't lose Mullen, Auburn takes a hit, Ole Miss keeps Nutt, and LSU gets a strong coach which doesn't matter to your everyday state fan since we can't beat LSU to save our lives

That would be great! I don't have any confidence that Pete Boone will find a good replacement for Nutt.

If they were to lose Miles, they should go after Jon Gruden. I know, I know he says he is happy commentating and turned down multiple jobs blah blah blah but I don't think he could turn down LSU. That would be a deadly combination.
