The worst part is that I am in Champaign and, for the most part, Illinois fans don't even care. They just figure if they beat you, you must be bad and they shouldn't be that proud of it.

Sick of stuff like this. Finish or die. We lack any sort of a killer instinct. That's why we're 2-3 instead of 5-0 and will continue to lose until it gets righted.

Most poorly coached Husker team I have ever seen. The includes Callahan. No passion, inept play calling, inept game management, Zero pass defense. No improvement In any phase of the game over 5 games. Huge mistake "knee-jerking" to an anti Bo personality.

Blah blah blah. Yes that's true but it comes down to talent and depth. You all have been making excuses for 15 years - since we won a lowly conf. Parity hurt Neb more than any school and it's not changing. Top 35 talent gets you a top 35 program and nothing more. Accept it. 3 head coaches in 15 years. You're telling me that every coach is bad??? It's lack or recruiting and talent. Period!!

You are correct. Michigan State is #2 in the country because Dantonio only pulls in top 5 ranked classes, just like Patterson at TCU. No team has ever finished more highly ranked than rivals.com ranked their recruiting classes.

I am starting to believe Nebraska football is dead. I think its easy to think they are something more than they are by looking at the facilitaties. The athletes obviously think they are Much better than they truly are, but sadly they are getting worse and worse by the year, no matter what anyone does.

I was in Champagne amongst Husker fans. We all felt the coaching was stellar. Great play calling, amazing clock management, fantastic job of keeping players heads in the game. It was a freaking clinic. Unfortunately, Illinios just had too much talent for us. They were, like world class.

As I said in another thread....you get the occasional T-Tragic or Amerr that no one else wanted that gives a chance to win the Big 10. Like MSU with Cook or TCU. Accept it. I'll Texas recruiting or the north Midwest over Neb. Sorry the facts are the facts.
