three things I like about WVU's position in the tournament

1. they can beat Buffalo

2. if they beat Buffalo, Maryland has 48 hours to prepare for the press.

3. the officiating should allow for more physical play. This is why I don't know if very many Big 12 teams will survive the first weekend, but WVU should benefit greatly.

If I'm not mistaken, Huggs said previously the team with the most difficult assignment against WVU would be a Round of 32 opponent with essentially no time to prepare for our style.

If we were an 8 and Maryland was a 1 that may be true. But no way Maryland overlooks Valpo, a 13 has beaten a 4 just about every season in the past decade or so, and often it happens twice, they cannot afford to look ahead, neither can we.
