Two other points. 1. on the interception. If Gavin or any other p layer could have caught up with Hallman and made a tackle anywhere before the goal line , the half would have ended without them getting that touchdown.
2. The pro Badger telecasters mentioned a few times that Wisconsin would wear down the RU defense by the second half and the defense played a great second half.
And let me mention a third one. I agree with comment in another thread that Evan should have been given the next series after he did well off the bench and to also give the trainer more time to evaluate Gavin before he returned to action.

I thought they should have kept Gavin out longer too, because a certain percentage of people get CTE caused by repeated blows to the head. Gavin is a tough man but the trainers need to keep him safe and healthy.
