A 6’2” F from SMU who lead the ACC in rebounding last year. Yes please, this makes sense. The other two are guards. Doesn’t really make sense.

Well, one is 6’0” and the other is 5’10”. I know he needs a couple of more shooters for sure. Another low-post scorer should be the top need.

We have 7 forwards and centers on the roster. I don’t mind the guards because they’re both smart players and Skylar would be one of our best 2 way players. Depending on matchups they both could play the 3. I’m not even sure Davidson will be in the rotation. Good for depth and versatility but we still don’t have a point guard.

You have to look at those players though. I honestly think Davidson would play a lot.

If they get the 6’2” player and we already have a 6’5” freshmen coming in that is a good start. Unlike the recent past I actually think this 6’5” freshmen looks good and will contribute more than our other bigs have.

Who are the players? What are their stats? Where are they now?
A lot to copy and paste. Probably easier to just google it. Davidson, 6’2” from SMU and I believe she averaged a dbl-dbl for SMU. She can rebound and we need that. The other two are guards - one is 6’0” and the other is 5’10”. That’s all I can recall.

I like all 3 when SMU played TCU this year Peterson scored 30 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. Davidson is a good outside scoring threat. Skylar Jones is solid and can play the guard and the wing.

Thanks, really appreciate the info. We definitely need an experienced Point Guard for next year. I like Berry and think
she will be a good player for us, but she is a scorer and doesn't have point gusrd mentality or high basketball IQ.
Peterson's 12 rebounds/game is outstanding. She should bring the toughness we have been missing at center.
Hope we get those two!

I love anyone who averages 12 rebounds a game, and anyone that is only 6’2” tall playing the 5 position must jump, something we have not seen too much at UL. I suspect that CJW will want Peterson to play the 4 next year. If we have learned anything at all, you must have someone in the 6’5” or taller range to defend inside to compete in WBB today.

She can block shots as well. Something we have sorely missed for a while.

Really interesting to watch. He landed a bunch of high end transfers before NIL since it has been a struggle. How can they be that far off from these other programs in terms of NIL? It is clear they don’t have the funds and their recruiting overall is blah.

If a program like uk is 700K ahead of us where do you think the better programs stand? Appears we are in line waiting and won’t get into the club.

I think the FB and MBB programs needed (and need) more help right now.

Laura Zeigler is 6’2” forward/center played for St. Joseph averaged double figures in scoring and rebounding. She was a finalist for the Becky Hammond award which is awarded to a top player in the mid-majors. She would be a good addition to the team.

She had 2 triple doubles this year. I only got a chance to watch her team play Syracuse and a few of her highlights. High iq player, great passer and playmaker, shoots the 3 if she’s open and may take a couple when she’s not, can dribble for her size, doesn’t miss layups, and high points the ball when she catches it in the paint for easy layups. On defense sometimes she gets caught ball watching and needs to clean up some of the smaller details on the defensive end. I think she still may have some upside. She’s a winner.
