Through 6 innings, one thing is for sure about this team...

they can't take any bit of momentum in any form and do anything with it.

Brett Freaking Bukvich has K'd 11. That's embarrassing.

And the thought I can't escape is had the perfect storm not hit (Doc named - LT resig - Byrne appt - Polk resig - Cohen hire), Raffo would be out recruiting the SAME players.

Connor and Ryan Powers and Nick Routt are about the only ones I want back. Sneed and Butler maybe but they are both 7th-8th in the lineup type hitters.

this new live stats program so many schools are using. Whoever makes this has hoodwinked half the ncaa. Give me back Gametracker!!

I can't even begin to list all the ways this thing sucks so if we could recruit a better live stats program for next year too, that would be great.

Somebody had to really work hard to make that program as ****** as it is. What happened to Gametracker, anyway? I believe USM still uses it.

Yes, the family and I left early. I have said all year that we had the bats but lacked the pitching. Well, after watching tonight, I will be a man about it and admit that I have no clue what I was talking about.

They threw a second rate pitcher that made our guys look like we played for The School for the Blind. If we were not watching 3rd strikes go buy, then we were swinging at balls in the dirt and a few that bounced before they ever got to the plate.

I was correct, are pitching was bad, and I actually thought when they brought Crosswhite in and he fanned the first batter that we may get something going. Then someone reminded him that he was supposed to throw batting practice.

I like Cohen, and think that he will take us in the right direction, but anyone that thinks it is going to happen quickly is setting himself up for disappointment. WE HAVE A LONG, LONG, LONG WAY TO GO.

sneed his hitting just under .400 in conference. i would think we would want him back for next year, given who else we have to choose from. probably batting a little higher than 8 too.

What chaps my butt is the fact we are what only two years out from being in the College World Series and our pitching staff is this bad. How in the world could Polk even think he should name his own replacement? That bastard did nothing his last four years but draw a check and cried like a baby over the NCAA rules. Add this in with the way he retired, I don't like him and I don't care what he did for the school in the past.
