I know Auburn doesn't have the best secondary.
But on the 3 drives that ended in TD passes, Russell looked to be in total control. We had guys wide open, and he made some damn fine throws. Bump on the run in the endzone corner, Jameon in the middle, Bump on an out route right on the sideline with a defender behind him. There were a few moments where it looked like everything was coming very easily to Tyler and he knew exactly where the ball was supposed to be going.
A lot of people liked what he did yesterday and I think everyone has to be pleased with the decisions he made yesterday. Todd McShay even said by the end of the year he thinks Tyler Russell could be one of the top 10 to 15 QBs in the nation. If he is able to put up numbers that good we are going to have a very special season because we have the defense to back up his play.
